will you skip Windows 8?
How many of you are planning to get Windows 8 when it comes out?

As far as I can see the new Windows 8 will be used by Business more than personal use. But who in business wants to touch a screen that other people have been using and have all their germs all over the screen. Especially the fact that most businesses don't even possess screen cleaners as it's too ''expensive'' for them to stock.
There is a tendency to regard the touch screen as the final and ultimate advantage of Windows 8. There are already hacks to show how to return to the more familiar Windows 7 screen. If businesses have the budget, they should look further ahead than the Touch facility. Windows 8, already, promises better performance.
Having said that. Imho most businesses are already achieving desired performance, probably overloaded with uneeded software on their networks, which won't go away with a new OS. Possibly, with Windows 7, updating for update sake, has come to the end of the line. With a worldwide economic plunge, which is forecast to go on for a long while, I doubt there will be a rush to purchase the new OS.
If I need a brand new computer sometime in the future, sure. Never need a touch screen for home use. I Like the Win 7 look a lot better though.
Loved win 7 but am already on WDP so yes.
Will get {another}new lappy with Win 8 on it ...so yes I will try / use it
I won't be able to make this call until I see what Windows 8 turns out to be when released. If it's anything like the currently developer preview, I'd be in no hurry to obtain it and certainly wouldn't spend my own money on it as it doesn't provide me with any feature that I can see that I am currently lacking/wanting/needing.
I will buy Windows 8 but i wont get it soon after the final release and will try the RC and will see and hear different opinions, bugs and everything else from internet and other users
