People that are supposedly well-educated, but pronounce simple words wrong like "ick-specially" as opposed to the proper pronunciation, "especially"
Essactaly!
Well truth be known misspelling it as "expresso" by advertisers has caused the confusion.
Expresso would be pronounced as spelled.
People who call a steam, diesel or electric locomotive a train.
A train consists of motive power hauling a rake of carriages or goods wagons.
And while I'm on my soapbox, people who call a ship a boat.
Ships carry boats, boats carry people.
It doesn't annoy me but I thought
boat = row boat =submarine = patrol boat.... -> carry people
ship = cruise ship = frigate.... -> carry people
