We are not jesting Dennis, we are deadly serious.

If a warship carries aeroplanes, it sure as hell ain't a boat!

Submarine? I'll give you that one as submariners will tell you they go to sea in a boat, and not a ship. And that's why I served in aircraft carriers. I wouldn't go underwater for all the tea in China.

Which brings me to another moan: sailors go to sea IN a ship not ON one one.

Why? Because a ship is his home and you don't live on a home, you live in one.

...and who carrys the ship(ping)...people.

That's why you should never expect people to keep their promises. That way, if they don't keep to it then you're not disappointed.

I am old enough to remember when the word "honor" meant something and business was still conducted with a hand shake. Those days are long gone I'm afraid.

Kill the HP welcome/poppup screen. It annoys me.
When I boot my computer, (a HP) , screen pops up, (picture of a hand and HP.) I don't want that. It annoys me. It is not necessary. I want to kill it. I don't want to hear how difficult it is, to remove. Merely, I want it not. mmm, someone must know how to get rid of it.
