We used to say "Those adverts are spoiling the programme", but nowadays the programmes are generally so lousy that we turn this phrase on its head and say "Those programmes are spoiling the adverts". It's true - many adverts are better than the programmes!

Even the ads are terrible in election years.

Local ad running in Missouri.
A fellow is running for Governor. Claims he is a business man and knows how to create jobs so he should be elected governor.

As I told my wife if he knows how to create jobs he should get his butt in gear and create them.
Why wait until November to start.

"I have a magic formula elect me governor and I'll turn the magic potion loose to create jobs everywhere. If you don't elect me I'm taking my toys and going home."

Kill the HP welcome/poppup screen. It annoys me.
When I boot my computer, (a HP) , screen pops up, (picture of a hand and HP.) I don't want that. It annoys me. It is not necessary. I want to kill it. I don't want to hear how difficult it is, to remove. Merely, I want it not. mmm, someone must know how to get rid of it.
