I've never understood why we need to pay more than the actual price and postage of the item.

In the USA we have to also pay sales tax on each item, a percentage of the
cost of the item, plus the sales tax and shipping and handling.

Yeah, we pretty much have the same here. Also an extra charge if shipping from overseas, separate from the actual posting/shipping fee.

Yeah agree there Windows I use paypal as little as possible as it so damn so as well as expensive. No wonder some of the sellers have quite ridiculous prices on their gear. I have a room full of spare gear that I see going for fortunes on Ebay and I wouldn't have the nerve to sell some of it.

Plus the Athlon I just bought had better be working unlike the last one

People who know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Whenever I buy anything and am confronted with "Oh, I could have got it for less", I always counter with "Prove it!"

To date, no-one has.

Kill the HP welcome/poppup screen. It annoys me.
When I boot my computer, (a HP) , screen pops up, (picture of a hand and HP.) I don't want that. It annoys me. It is not necessary. I want to kill it. I don't want to hear how difficult it is, to remove. Merely, I want it not. mmm, someone must know how to get rid of it.
