This can sometimes be a cleaner or security guard on patrol. See if you can find a time stamp to isolate the time and compare it with when the building is cleaned or security makes rounds. Would your co-worker really be there at 2 a.m., for example?

and hope whoever it is doesn't read Seven Forums. Just a suggestion: this isn't a little closed user group, so I'd be a little cautious what personal information you share.

As an on call staff my co-worker has all reason to be at place at any time. Luckily, I'm among the staff authorized to inspect and audit PCs utilization at the section. So just able to keep it low, or keep it as little secret between us. And I can be assertive on the case.
Too much info!

Kill the HP welcome/poppup screen. It annoys me.
When I boot my computer, (a HP) , screen pops up, (picture of a hand and HP.) I don't want that. It annoys me. It is not necessary. I want to kill it. I don't want to hear how difficult it is, to remove. Merely, I want it not. mmm, someone must know how to get rid of it.
