Strange how Pop Rock gave us one of the greatest operatic singers (Freddie) and the greatest classical composer (McCartney) of our time.

    Long live rock!

Like Gary said depends on what part has snapped off mate I did the top of a plug the other day and while my breakage wasn't worth fixing if it's in the mobo or drive socket then some VERY careful gluing might put it back together.

That two pack resin based stuff is good but make sure you only use the smallest amount you can and trim the excess with a very fin blade - a scalpel blade is ideal before it is set hard - you do have a few minutes where you can do that when it's in a semi gel state and make sure you give it at least 24 hours to cure / set properly before using the socket again.:)
    will give this a go

Kari, that is such a shame, You are going to miss quite a few good things on there, I really love how you can get the step by step guides to almost anything, But if you have or keep getting problems and constant buffering then I can see your point ,Do you think you may have an underlying software problem on your lappy ? :)
