Looking for a new laptop

Currently I have an HP Pavilion dv6 laptop for 1.5 years, and so far it's worked like a charm. The only downside is it heats up like a thousand suns and i'm worried it will damage the insides and is made out of plastic/aluminum type material that snaps out of place (i dropped it once and the screen now is as if i can pull it apart) and a corner looks like it can be pulled off as well.

All aside, I mean the specs for it are very good if i've been satisfied so far with it; though I'm looking for a new one in the future to have:
  • built-in webcam
  • fingerprint loggin scan (not too important)
  • does not heat up and melt the insides
  • good ventilation

and that's about it. Friend of mine said to go for Toshiba, but I just want your guys' input. You've never failed me when I had an issue :P

attatched is my specs for it from the system, i've looked at laptops like Newegg.com - ASUS N53SV-EH72 Notebook Intel Core i7 2670QM(2.20GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory DDR3 500GB HDD 7200rpm DL DVD±RW/CD-RW NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M and it seems about where i want to be
