    Life Returns...Fact Or Fiction

I'm watching a movie from 1935, that claims that a doctor found a means to bring life back to a dog, after being gassed by the dog pound:

Life Returns : Lou L. Ostrow : Free Download & Streaming : Internet Archive

I know that life has been restored to persons thought dead of hypothermia, and spontaneously by unknown factors, but I have never heard of anything like this before.

While iMDB lists it as Sci-Fi, the prologue of the movie claims that is based on a true story. I wonder if it has any foundation, or is just some more of the lies typical of movie makers? If there were any truth in it, it would seem that there would be much more known about it today.

Thanks, it's good to know that the movie was not a total fabrication, despite them having taken liberty with the facts. From what I understood of the quotes in that thread, the resuscitation was not completely alien to what is being done today, and it sounds as though his formula could be used in concert with other means of doing code blues...at least in limited circumstances. I wonder why it is not being done?

When has not Hollywood taken liberty with the facts?

Agreed. Though I've always known it, at first I wasn't aware of just how much liberty they took. So much that their output is worth nothing, except in terms of brain washing, which is diluted in a "sweet" solution termed entertainment. Like most everyone else, after a lifetime of being regularly dosed most every day, I've become addicted, which makes nearly all videos have a sweet and sour effect on me. It makes me wonder just how much they have effected who I am, and who I would have been, had I lived before Hollywood came into existence?

Quite an interesting train of thought.

Perhaps, but I think it must be a ghost train, because I seem to be the only passenger.

At times being an only passenger is a thoughtful, and an awakening experience.

Yes, but on the other hand, it can also be a lonely one.

I got curious about the Australian flag gif in your user data, because the stars on the right side kind of look like a question mark. I Googled it, but what I found was even more curious to me. What is the significance of all of those crux designations:
