Neat but pricey. A bit of an overkill for what I am doing with it (no games at all). And a fancy box is useless for me because it is buried under the desk. | My System Specs |

Actually CyberPowerPC and iBuyPower are on the low end of pricing of the "Boutique" type builders. Have a look at these builders: Puget Systems Digital Storm XION Maingear PC Velocity Micro Xi Computer Corp.

Thanks Bill for the fine list. Will study it. The model I am now looking at right now is appr. $800 with the graphics upgrade and 2 USB3 ports. They give me a little discount. That will be my benchmark. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

Have a look at AVA Direct, their prices are more in line with what it would cost you to buy all the parts at retail. A Guy The closest I could get for a comparable configuration (AMD 6 core though) was $1150. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |
