Kari is the name my parents gave me, followed by Juhani, the middle name I share with my father, his father and my oldest son. Both names are traditional Finnish male names, although I have had some difficulties to get people abroad to believe it really is a male name

My username is derived from the cost of my computer(s) when purchased new plus hardware upgrades which account for at least half of the original cost.

Mine I came up with when I first joined a forum back in the mid 2000's. Obviously I'm a fan of heavy metal music and I just kept using it in other forums for the sake of simplicity.

Just a random cool sounding thing (to a 13yr old) that wasn't already taken when signing up for my first yahoo ID back in the late 90's, just kept it as a handle ever since.

My name came from playing Microsoft Links 2003 with friends online. One particular course had "lava rock" instead of rough, which I tended to be in a lot.

Hence I became the "Lava King."

I've always wondered where a lot of usernames came from, some are pretty easy to figure out I think but others not so much. I don't know if anybody else would be interested but I'd certainly like to know where our members' usernames came from and how they were thought up. Mine dates back to the...
