My christmas was made very good by a new jacket for the winter. and then taking the receipt back today and receiving a 50% discount put back on my credit card.

Also, my friends son told us the news that his girl friend finally had her .

I now have three monitors instead of just two. . .:)
How sharp is the TV screen compared to the 27" monitor?

(I'm trying to suppress my envy.)
Just as good. The reason I bought this TV was because of the screen resolution. Will have to say that the Dell on the right (portrait flipped) is one the sharpest I have seen; it is a 23" with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1152 (just sweet).

What video card(s) are you running those off of, Lee? :)

Got the same gift I get most every year, the painful reminder of how bad your back aches the next day if you wait until Christmas Eve to wrap something like a hundred presents! So now I vow "NEVER AGAIN!"...just like all the years past!

The Mitsubishi and Dell are running off an ATI HD4350, and the Hannspree (25") is running off a "Plugable USB 2.0 UGA Multi-Display Adapter using a DVI to HDMI cord.

I have the same Hannspree 25" monitor as my main display and it looks huge on my desk. (It and the other two monitors I have are listed in my specs.) Next to your 40" Mitsubishi it looks kind of dinky.
