Having wife by my side at the Christmas Eve Mass and then out to dinner.
Gifts were the usual sweaters and shirts as I really didn't need anything but HEALTH AND HAPPINESS.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and are sharing these special moments with your loved ones.

I got a new Dell XPS desktop and a Toshiba Sattelite laptop to replace my Sony Vaio that they refund. And a Crucial M4 to go with the desktop. For the laptop I already had a Vertex that I recovered from the Sony. The whole transaction cost only $300 because the Toshiba was $500 cheaper than the Sony - and it is nearly as good. Difference is an i5 in lieu of an i7, a lesser graphics and no eSata port (but it has USB3). In return it blows less heat.
So I am pretty busy now to set this all up plus setting up my old desktop for friends that are going to get it. Then I have to deal with their old XP desktop which we will give to charity - our computer club does that on a regular basis.. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

My "best" present was also the biggest surprise, totally unexpected. I got Jose Marti Churchill cigars from my mother-in-law, every cigar packed individually in a cedar wood tube:
(My Nokia N900 is there to show the size of the cigars)
Got three wooden boxes, each containing 10 tubes/cigars Churchills are really nice and soft, going well together with whisky or cognac.

I always tell everyone that if they're going to get something for me, get it for my boy instead.
Of course, mom doesn't see it that way, she still gets me stuff.
So, I got the usual clothes, and some chocolate(i'm a sucker for chocolate for some reason).
Also got a new wrench set, both SAE and Metric, which i've been contemplating buying for a few months now to replace my Craftsman set(some are missing after 10 years), and a new drill bit set. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Toshiba Satellite L455D OS Windows 7 Home Premium CPU Amd Semperon 2.10GHz Memory 2 Gig Graphics Card ATI Radeon 3100 Sound Card Realtek Monitor(s) Displays 15.6 inch Screen Resolution 1366x768 Mouse Logitech Wireless Hard Drives 250gig Internet Speed 16/2 cable What did you get for xmas? problems?
