My christmas desktop

this year i downloaded Deskscapes from stardock and used the winter snow by neil banfield wallpaper dreamscape, it can be configured to add your own wallpaper to it,
here is a terrible quality screen capture using camtasia.
anyone who knows how to make a better job of it please share your ideas.
anyhow the actual deskscape looks amazing and the snow flow looks very realistic

again sorry for the crap quality of the vid

edit, i used the laptop which has a smaller screen and the upload was better.
though still not great

The quality of the video may be not that good, but the customization is a champion !

Hi all
Good stuff -- but beware --sometimes using Stardock customisations screws up other Video applications -- it's not stardocks fault intentionally of course. !!

Happy New Year

Cheers

It looked great Julian, and was really Christmassy. I often wish we could have a moving wallpaper, I have some great waterfall and other wallpapers that would look good if they moved, you know like a ripple effect or such. Some of the Bing home page photos have it and it really adds to the effect.

Very nice boohbah

This is the one I put on the desktop every year. A few years ago I used to have a program that put Christmas lights around the screen and you could make them flash, change the color, etc. Wish I could find that...it's on a disk....somewhere...
