Brussels must have the RICHEST Beggars on the Planet -- !!!
I'm currently on contract in Brussels which I rather like --it's nothing like as boring as people say and it's a LOT LOT cheaper than Paris with probably just as good if not even better restaurants too.
However the other night I was really surprised -- a harmless old tramp near the Central Station (Gare Centrale) asked me for some money --not aggressive begging-- but just one of the harmless "Old Timers" you sometimes see in major capitals. I said I'm sorry I only have a VISA card and no actual Cash.
So this old tramp fished around in a dirty old Black plastic Garbage Sack and pulled out one of those old fashioned HAND operated CREDIT CARD machines !!!!!
I'd have given the guy 20 EUR for originality if I'd had the money --well if I see him again I'll give him the 20 EUR.
So here in Brussels beggars are accepting Credit Cards. !!!!!!

Question about Planet CD-ROM At least twice a day I get email from Planet CD-ROM. I seldom look at them and always delete them. Of the few I looked at they seem to have some pretty good deals on CDs. Does anyone know anything about them as to whether they are legitimate or not?
Humans on this planet are now redundant Hi all
When i read this I first checked the date OK not Apr 1.
It seems now that there is no need anymore to have any more HUMANS on this planet.

I'm sure we'll find another niche but the future looks bleak for mankind currently...
