Where do you live and why?

Now that I'm getting on in years, me and my good lady have moved to a purpose-built retirement apartment.

There are several reasons we chose it, but the main ones are that we are within easy walking distance of shops (too many for my liking!), health centre and a regular bus service into Peterborough's town centre.

Coupled with plenty of nice walks, a huge garden centre and several pubs and restaurants nearby, it's not a bad place to live.

So, where do you live and what do you like or dislike about it?

That looks like a conveneient place. Although I would have the age for a retirement home, I prefer to live in my own places.

In Germany in a cute little town in the Black Forest during the summer. In Florida in our little house during the winter because it is too cold in the Black Forest. Then we have a pied a terre in NY at my MiL's house. But there we are not often.

I live in Spokane, WA for the most part of the year and then in summer I go back home in Madrid, Spain. Next year I'll go off to college, but I don't know where yet

    Devon is my favourite county.

How far are you from Dartmoor?
