Currently got sharp (but tolerable) chest pains on the righthand side. It's not cardiac related, as I feel fine in myself. I thought it was because I had done a lot of lifting of moderately heavy boxes at work earlier this week, but then I would have thought that it would affect the other side as well. Then, last night, the penny dropped. On Tuesday dinner time, just before I went home for the afternoon (I was on split shifts this week), I called off to get some cans and a bottle of pop. They didn't half make my bag feel heavy. And guess where the strap goes when I have the bag on? Yep, you've guessed. It sits right over where I currently have the pain.

It could probably just myalgia (muscle pain) after straining a bit more than usual push. Mostly it will subside in few days.

That's what I've been thinking. I've just been to get some Deep Heat cream to rub on the afflicted area. Seems to be easing it already. :)

Tickets to Giuseppe Verdi's I Lombardi alla prima crociata tonight. Only problem is, it is an Open Air opera festival, DomStufen-Festspiele in Erfurt, the city where I work. And it has been raining a few weeks now, weather is really cold and forecast shows even colder and more rain for tonight.

DomStufen-Festspiele (literally Cathedral Steps Festival) is something special, scene built on the famous Erfurt Cathedral steps, stand in the Cathedral Square. As a fan of both city of Erfurt, the Dom (Cathedral), opera and especially Giuseppe Verdi, I am quite disappointed and sad at the moment. This was an evening we have been waiting for a long time but it seems to be pointless to go there for 3 hours to freeze and be wet.

Looks like a nice place to visit Kari. But cold weather can really be a turn off.

I'm sure they wouldn't let a little thing like that get in the way of your "reward", Arc.

Didn't get to go to Erfurt while I was in Germany...... it was in the "eastern bloc" then and I was a solider, Kari. Loved Deutschland and still have a couple of friends there. A very beautiful country, especially the south. Sometimes its better to brave the cold and wet than to miss out on something special.

I've been thinking of grabbing a galaxy 3 - if you don't want it, I'll take it

Brotherly duties performed again - helped my sister move.

I have come to one realization though - my back is flapped... oww.
