    RE: Today [9]

OK, it was cold but luckily no rain. Happy that we decided to go, we both enjoyed it quite a lot. Katia Pellegrino ("Giselda") alone was worth to see and hear, what a voice! Audience thanked with over 10 minutes standing ovation.

Few pics, sorry I am no photographer.

glad you went and enjoyed it kari,
even if the weather turned out worse there would have been a sense of camaraderie between you all
(a bit like Glastonbury in the mud).
i bet the brandy flasks would have been passed around.

    Looks awesome Kari!

Today I returned for this vacation, what a wonderful one. In a few hours I'll be in a plane towards Barcelona. It's nice to be back a few hours though!

Currently got sharp (but tolerable) chest pains on the righthand side. It's not cardiac related, as I feel fine in myself. I thought it was because I had done a lot of lifting of moderately heavy boxes at work earlier this week, but then I would have thought that it would affect the other side as well. Then, last night, the penny dropped. On Tuesday dinner time, just before I went home for the afternoon (I was on split shifts this week), I called off to get some cans and a bottle of pop. They didn't half make my bag feel heavy. And guess where the strap goes when I have the bag on? Yep, you've guessed. It sits right over where I currently have the pain.
Hiyya Dwarf GET YOURSELF CHECKED OUT NOW!! I have been an RN for 40 + and mate any pain in the chest either side with pain in either arm, or just in either arm, in the jaw, the throat either side, in the region of your shoulder blade, or even a tooth - it has been well documented that diabetics particularly have the letter and put it down to just a toothache.
These pains need not be exertion related either they can come on at rest so please get it checked out.
If it turns out to be nothing you have lost nothing on the other hand you may be running the risk of getting the wooden overcoat before your time.
Err on the side of caution mate as now you have rung my bell and it's an alarm one. I have seen this happen too many times to be funny and there are many people pushing up daisies who thought it was nothing.
