    Archie

Right, it happened half an hour ago. lasted for one minute. It was actually 8,5 RS. Located 15 km from Aceh seashore. Tsunami warning has been released, but we certainly expect it won't, as it was 10 below sea level. But I'm watching on TV there a people panicking and rushing to higher level ground waiting for the official updates?

Fell worry about it as Aceh in the past was the most area severely damaged with high casualties to more than 100.000 few years ago along with those suffered in India, Pakistan, and Thailand.

My hometown is almost 3000 km away from it.

Hope everything will be fine over there.

    Edit: 10km below sea level

    Thanks for the concern, Arc.

Remembering 2004 Tsunami, it was the deepest grievance. Indonesia was the hardest-hit country with at least 174,000 people dead and many thousands more are missing.

The last minutes update indicate that there is no early signs of tsunami though the warning still in effect.

    We certainly are.
And a bit relieved to hear the corrected update that the earthquake cited more than 300 km away. That is why it was felt in some of Pacific areas.

Thanks Jaidyn. We are fine here.
My area is thousands miles away from it.
But we worry about people there as another tsunami warning was declared following another shakes at the same scale few minutes ago.

Yeah, I've been hearing a lot about it. Many surrounding countries have been affected too...

I'm really getting NO mail from W7Forum now.( I've come here .. saved a link to the
threads I want to see or post on).
Never have had to do this before.. even my threads trying to get my QVC acct.. to log me in.. no e-mails from those replies.
I'm not at all sure what's happened on this issue..
    Sweet dreams..
