Thanks chaps. I was pleasantly surprised at the results. If I wasn't a type 1 diabetic, they would have been considered perfect (and I could continue with my chip intake )

Thanks for all the ideas guys. I think a dinner with some jewelry is a good option. As we both are home this whole week, I will take her to a nearby hill station.

The Western Ghats are really nice ... you can have both the hill and sea at once ... though sea is nothing new to you . Enjoy your trip

Bright Sunday morning. Biking along with people at car free day zone, good to see people smile along the way.

Today I noticed the Daddy-Long-Legs spider are territorial.

    Today [9]-daddy-long-legs-spider_big.jpg

I was watching one getting chased and hounded away from several others webs.

I also come up with a new game.

The Daddy-long-legs have a defence mechanism that is hilarious to watch. When threatened; they vibrate, shake and spin vigorously. I don't how it's supposed to deter predators, but it's bloody funny.

The game is to poke 7 or 8 and bet which one 'goes off' the longest. Repeated poking seems to piss off some more than others as the annoyed ones continue to 'go off' long after the others have stopped.

After several bouts of sporadic giggling, my partners curiosity got the better of her and she came to the toilet door to find out what was so amusing. I showed her - and soon there were two sets of giggles emanating from the toilet :)
