Not bad. I feel it's great somebody finally stepped up to honor this. However, we all know the wars were filled with scandal. As to what I've read in an editorial before, the editor stated that it's most likely because the government as a whole does not want to 'endorse' the wars beacuse 1.) Many flaws in the Iraq occupation (no WMDs discovered) 2.) There is still a war in Afghanistan (primary reason).
That being said, while some vets march after a going home from Iraq, some vets in A-stan can only watch their brothers-in-arms be happy while they are still in a land filled with war. Majority of US Soldiers in A-stan also saw a tour of duty in Iraq, hence why celebration is far too early for now.
Needless to say, kudos to vets out there. You served the US proudly.
