    Xbox 360 games on demand

Has anyone done this yet? You can download entire games to your hard drive without having to use the disc. The only problem that I am having is that apparently, even if you already have the game saved to your HD, MS doesn't take that as meaning that you own it.

I have Bioshock saved, but I have lost the disc. I went online on my Xbox to download it, and it just doesn't read that I have installed it from the DVD and played it multiple times. I understand that this is probably some kind of anti-piracy thing, but it's also a pain in the ass for us who ran out and bought these games fo $60 the day they were released.

It's the same principle as PC games: - Install to and run from your hard Drive, but you require the disc in the drive to start the game.

Unfortunately, there aren't any no-dvd cracks available for the Xbox. However, the games downloaded via Live would have their own version of a no-dvd.

well first, get your facts straight...are you talking about games on demand? or downloading your game (disk) to your hard drive. Once you have BOUGHT your games on demand you can freely re-download them whenever you want. If you have a game downloaded from the disk then you must use the disk to play the game. If you saying that's retarded...it's really not. If you have scratched or damaged your disk this save you the $60 of buying a new one. This has already saved me once. Although if you have quite a few games then you will need a larger hard drive. I only DL the games i play the most to my HD. (btw this also helps with loading times supposedly)
