| | XP Home SP3 "Unknown Device" Problem Installed VHS to DVD software with a Diamond VC600 Converter. Uninstalled with Revo. Installed driver only and another program. Uninstalled both again with Revo. I can't get rid of the device. Tried to delete, uninstall, update driver, etc. Even deleted the hub, then the USB controller to no avail. No device plugged in at all. USB\VID_0000.....etc is the device ID What's irritating is that NONE OF THE FOUR USB PORTS WORK. They all worked before, but not now. Need some guidance !!!!!!!!! | | Obviously, the Unknown Device got hungry and went out for breakfast. I fired up the system this AM and ALL IS WELL !!! Unbelievable. I had restarted several times, totally shutdown the system several times to no avail. "What A Difference A Day Makes." (Hope the "fix" sticks) "I'll Be Baaaack." (Please, NO !!!) |
