I wouldn't dare tell my parents that, I would get my ass beat and my dad would probably sell my xbox and pc also or just give it away loool. This is coming from a dude who's 18, last time i did something was about 5 years ago and i got my ps2 taken for a year and half. Never went that far again XD but i never disrespected them like that though mine was about me not wanting to do something that he asked me multiple times to do and i just ignored him. Learned not to do that and learned my lesson. Was 13 back then so i was more of a rebel i'm more calmed down now.

Hats off to him, I applaud him I certainly wouldn't have stood for nonsense like that from a child, she should have thought herself lucky to even have a laptop of her own. Alright I know that this day and age it's taken as a right rather than a privilege to have one but sorry I'm old fashioned and actually had friends in the real world as opposed to virtual ones.
I've brought up 4 kids 2 of each and never had such disrespect, she got what she deserved.

Loved the vid! LOL! He seems like a genuinely nice guy too! Thought it was funny that he also wanted the $130 for the upgrade just to add insult to injury. I think on this occasion she may just learn the hard way! Albeit she won't be the first or last to do it and maybe this may be a lesson learned for kids and parents alike!

I just hope that when Hannah is older she never does such a thing, but if she ever did she would most certainly feel my wrath and then some!

I would have sold the memory & drive on craigslist then shot it.

Many moons ago our daughter had a terrible habit of slamming doors shut so hard the whole house shook.

I finally took a stand and made her open and quietly close a door continuously until she realised I wasn't going to give in.

It took 5 hours before the penny dropped, but we got there in the end. Discipline has to be taught and enforced or we finish up making a rod for our own back.
