Why is it that whenever I log on to a travel web site for trains and planes in general I'm NEVER presented with a simple choice -- see / download TIMETABLE.
Lots of times I just want to review the possibilities -- I don't want to have to go via "Search and Make a booking"
I can't be bothered to enter date / time etc -- I just want the TIMETABLE -- surely this CAN'T be TOO difficult for a web designer to include as a button on the site : Download or View Timetable.
Eurostar (London ==> Brussels / Paris via Channnel Tunnel) seems one of the FEW companies who still have this option avialbale on their websites.
If you ARE a web designer please just don't take the I.T managers spec -- suggest what REAL USERS actually WANT from the site.
Gripe today because I had to go round in HOOPS just wanting to look at possibilities of London==>Cologne or Frankfurt via Train.
Eurostar fine -- but Thalys --forget it. The Info is there but whoever designed that POS should be Hung Drawn and Quartered and then made to eat his own b---s before finally being put out of his misery.
I think we have a new definition now for some web sites --the site is USER AGGRESSIVE. !!
