    The history of Seven Forums?

I just realized how many resources I have at my disposal especially thanks to the tutorial section.

I then realized how this is such a great contribution and it's quite simple and organized. Also we have an App
Maybe not every single problem gets solved but a big majority of it does.
I was wondering who started this project? Did this start since XP? Was there a XP Forums?

I would just like some background information.

We started with Vista Forums on the 15th of October, 2005. Seven Forums came next on the 17th of June, 2008. Eight Forums came shortly after 23rd of July, 2009.

John (z3r010) is the all-powerful creator of Designer Media Ltd which is the company that runs these forums. Shawn (Brink) is the other admin on the forums, Aaron (Airbot) is the Super Mod, and the mods are Guy (Dwarf) and Nigel (Barman58).

Actually it all dates back further than that - 64bit World started 29-feb-2004

The only other person that is still around from those days other than me is chinga69, brink joined us in 07 and Barman, Dwarf & Airbot in 08.

And yes I did just wake up one day and thought I'd like to play forums on the internet

A big thanks to Admin who put up this kind of forum and helped a lot of people about their computer problems.

I must say it's not all about fixing computer problems. Since i registered here just recently, i learned some new tips and tricks just by reading some threads. This forum to me is like a giant computer library and it helped me a lot. I am no guru in fixing computer problem, just a regular guy who loves to help some friend with their computer problems. Just a BASIC computer technician if I must say. Using this forum as a reference for any of my computer repairs really helps me a lot. :)

Kudos to Admin and to all awesome guru here

Whatever the reason, I'm just glad this forum is in existence.

Well run, great tutorials and great help make what it is.

Carling don't design forums, but if they did, it would probably be the best forum in the world.

Wait.........................this is the best forum in the world.
