    I miss living on campus at the University here and having 100mbps speeds.

    There's 50mbps fibre available in Morecambe, but only via Smallworld.

    update, recieved new router and here is my new speed for this morning ,slightly disappointing given its a 100mb dl speed but will keep an eye on it .
    however uploading this pic was very quick so thats nice

    Are you sure you're not getting a false reading because the Gloucester server you're connecting to isn't very good?

    tried maiden head that was gash coming in at 34mb

    milton keynes 35.73

    london, better with a 46.81

    canterbury ,21mb

    will keep testing throughout the day and evening and see how it goes.

    manchester pushed me into the red at last.

    i did get a 92mb using the Bt lite beta speed test which is supposed to be more accurate ,but also bt are ringing me back to help me achieve 100mb as its fiber to the premises i should be hitting 100mb.

    turns out the ethernet port i was originally plugged into was the wrong one, no one said there was a specific one, until later. for the record it should be port cigE
    its still around 92 and we cant get it too improve.
    anyway in about 6 months it goes up to 160mb dl.
