    haha. i suppose not, little did i know, 2Ghz processors were just peeking around the corner. i would have saved up for a few weeks and bought one of those, instead of listening to "the guy"

    I know. My dad got it for me. I was 9 or 10 and wanted one. It's amazing I really used it. For about 2 years I created programs (in BASIC) and copied books of code to create cooler programs. I wish I had stuck with it. Maybe I would be making millions with video games. haha

    First computer was a ZX Spectrum with 48kb memory and 3.5mhz cpu. First PC was a 286 running at 12mhz!

    i think i've still got my speccy stashed away in my dad's loft.

    my first 'ibm compatible' was an old monster. i forget it's specifications, but i did keep the 25 mhz cpu...

    My first "computer" was a ZX80, if I could remember the specs you would laugh!!
    My first real pc was an Emachines running Windows ME (8 years ago), it had 10gb HD 256mb ram and that's all I remember.
    The good news is it's still running. I gave it to my niece 4 years ago so she had a PC for her home work and the internet. She's taken good care of it and it still runs as well today (?!) as it did the day I bought it.
