    I've heard that in U.S., you are charged for an incoming call as well. Am i correct?

    Wow thats too much.

    I have a 1000 min Outgoing free package with No incoming charges at $3.00 in Sri Lanka. It tops to $4-5 when i use too much GPRS while travelling.

    here in India, incoming calls are free and every month i can send 250 text free. :)

    Are you on Airtel ? Its cheaper here too, but still less coverage. So I dont use it.
