If they ever get a large enough chunk of the market they'll also quickly find out they are no more immune to viruses than pc's are. It's just no one wants to put the effort into making a virus that only has the potential to affect about 8% of 'the net'... and that's potential, reality is likely a much smaller percentage than that.
I will never understand why there are people that think macs and all other Apple products are perfect. You should have seen when I updated my ipod touch 4g to iOS 5. That thing was so slow and the battery life was HORRIBLE beyond belief. Even on their latest iOS versions, the performance is still lacking, as well as the battery life. Luckily, I have a way to downgrade to 4.3.3
As for the Mac, I have booted up macs at bestbuy and they don't start up any faster than pcs. The only thing Macs are better than PCs at is shutting down. They shut down in about 2 to 3 seconds on the Macbook Air. My PC boots up faster than all of them with an ssd. It is probably more stable and secure than them anyway.
