Oh, of course I've had them but not in a long time.

Lately, it's dry cereal mostly, beans on toast perhaps once a week, eggs probably once a week and S.O.S. for Sunday breakfast.

For the record, friends I have had the flu since last Sunday morning. Pretty bad case of it and I think I am over most of it except for a terrible cough. Ready or not, I'm going make it to the drug store tomorrow and get some cough drops and other cough medication. Maybe some ice cream too.

I'm the primary care giver in this family and Fred is no help.
Ohhhh wow, the flu is awful, never had anything that really put me flat on my back until a few years ago, I was told I had a bad case of the old time flu that lasts 2 full weeks, thought I would just go ahead and die as bad as I felt, if I knew I would not get well, then I had pneumonia , the coughing lasted 6 weeks. I've never missed getting a flu shot since, you can see why .I'm usually very healthy, the whole thing shocked me, along with taking so long to recoup from, my gf said she could hear my breathing rattle on the phone, when she called to check on me.
Joe's story..........

I have a pretty good health record for an old geezer. The last time I had the flu was January of 1989 and that case was a doozy. Then like now, my wife was dead and I had no one to take care of me. The flu lasted two weeks and from then on, I got my flu shot every year. Can't complain about getting it once in what is it 24 years? Not bad.

Like your girl friend, I can hear my breathing rattle and it really disturbs me. I haven't driven since I got sick- couldn't but I will tomorrow.

I work long days If I am off, I get hungry. Worked from home for a year, put on 45 pounds! Lost them and more when I started running service calls again. I bring a banana and eat it on the way home after my last call. A Guy

My job is fairly physical and I notice a big difference in my energy level if I try to skip breakfast, or lunch. It can get to the point where I can't concentrate because of low blood sugar.

The Flu is widespread this year but also Norovirus.

I got my Flu shot last Month and also a pneumonia shot that is good for 6 years. Since I am over 65 I also got the Shingles vaccine a few years ago which is good for life.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you guys/gals need to eat something before starting your day,
Please try to make the change you need about breakfast. Good luck .

Get you flu shot one and all if you have not already... I got my flu shot and a shingles shot at the same time this year o e in each arm no side effects.
Ganjiry keep asking for your flu shot they are making more....here in the USA we can get our flu shot at Wal-Mart... if one is near you.

I awaken hungry, I'm not a snacker after dinner , I eat nothing until I awaken in the morning starving
.
The flu is rampant here as well, one dares not get near the hospital, I carry and use those surgeon gloves to use everywhere, , wipel door knobs , grocery carts handles, and the car steering wheel when I get back in the car, remove the gloves toss in the trash, plastic grocery bag.

I sometimes make and freeze at night , a Smoothie ,
In a blender.....using a banana, 1 cup of yogurt, 1 cup of your choice , frozen fruit, I like strawberries, or blueberries,
peach slices, 1 tablespoon of wheat germ, 2 or spoons of prepared O. Juice, , 1/2 cup ice cubes, in a blender, until the smoothness you like, ( add a bit of sugar or splenda, to sweeten if you prefer it.)
If you have it frozen, take out of the freezer the night before, it will usually be ready to drink the next morning ,
it's a good day starter.
