Not your fault Bill.

I've spent hours playing with my latest build and have neglected the forum.

Started this morning rebooting - taking me back to the desktop. Just reboots every now and then. Wouldn't do it when I was there but when I was at another computer, I could hear the start up wave. Maybe every two hours it would do it. So- I sat there and eventually the screen went black and it went into safe mode and immediately the screen went black again and into safe mode awaiting instructions.

I was at a loss so I tried a upgrade install- is that what it's called? Spent an hour trying to prove my copy of Win 7 was not counterfeit. Finally worked but The computer is still doing the same thing.

I have no idea what to do so I'll post here on the forum and beg for help.

Wasted a good part of the day.

Now it's dead.

Boiled egg(s) (soft-medium) on toast. Beans on toast is great too. Tasty and very good for you - something must be wrong.
(Ideal boiled egg = egg(s) in tap temp water bring to light boil, boil 3 minutes then run under tap cold water)

I have a HPD5000T which was delivered with Vista Home Premium. I've upgraded a couple of older PCs from XP to Win 7 pro with no problems so I thought I'd have a go at the vista machine. This machine was never great under vista and has been a mess under Win 7. First I tried a genuine upgrade over...
