| Windows 7: 5 Guys Burgers and Fries |

5 Guys Burgers and Fries OK, so after all the Hype about In-N-Out and their hidden menus, etc. I had to try them when they finally came here. So so burger, and terrible fries (everyone who loves them said it must have been an off day). Whatever, never went back as BK is better.
Krispy Kreme, must have best doughnut, can get them when they are still warm, etc. A good doughnut, but Rolling pin is better IMHO.
So now, 5 Guys Burgers and Fries are in town. Another simple menu, but raves about best burger last 7 years, Zagat #1 rated burger. Free toppings!
So...anyone been there? What do you think? The next coming? A must visit? A good burger? Don't bother?

It's alright. A decent burger and the amount of fries you get is simply ridiculous. I find it a bit expensive myself. For the money, go to Red Robin, or any other, ACTUAL, restaurant, sit down and enjoy yourself a burger with some flavor. The fries are the only thing they really have going for them. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Made OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel 2500k @4.5ghz 66deg max P95/IBT Motherboard Gigabyte Z68A-D3-B3 Memory 8 Gigs Patriot Viper 2 Extreme @1600 Graphics Card EVGA GTX 580 3 GIG 35degrees idle Sound Card Nvidia HD audio via HDMI to 7.1 Receiver Monitor(s) Displays 32" Olevia hdtv Screen Resolution 1080p Keyboard Logitech wireless Combo, G13 Mouse G300 PSU Corsair vx550w Case Thermaltake V3 black Cooling CM 212+(push n pull) 4 case fans Hard Drives 64gig SSD(OS/Apps)

OK, so, no burgergasms, but would you say worth trying? We have several "high end" burger places nearby, but I'm not a fan of spending $12 for a burger and fries when 1/2 that will get you just as much at one of the major chains. It's definitely worth it in my opinion. I couldn't afford it as a regular deal, but for a once-in-a-while treat it does a good job. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self OS Main - Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-Bit; 2nd - Windows Server 2008 R2 CPU Main - Core i7 2600K; 2nd - Core i7 920 Motherboard Main - Asus P8Z68-V Pro/Gen3; 2nd - Gigabyte GA-EX58-UDR3 Memory Main - 16GB Corsair Vengeance; 2nd - 12GB Corsair Vengeance Graphics Card Main - XFX Radeon 6870 1GB; 2nd - XFX Radeon 4870 1GB Sound Card Both: Onboard Realtek Azalia Monitor(s) Displays Main - Hann 25" + I-INC 25" + Acer 23"; 2nd - Upgrading Soon Screen Resolution Main - 1920x1080 (All Three Monitors); 2nd - Upgrading Soon Keyboard Main - Razer Reclusa; 2nd - Old MS Keyboard Mouse Main - Logitech MX Revolution; 2nd - Old MS Mouse PSU Main - OCZ 600W Modular; 2nd - OCZ 600W Case Main - Thermaltake Element G; 2nd - NZXT something or other Cooling Main - Corsair H80; 2nd - Prolimatech Megahalems Hard Drives Main - (1) Crucial M4 128GB (Boot)

A Guy Not available here, so can't comment - but it's gotta be better than McDonald's which is always a plus.
Personally I've found the best burgers are from independent 'Fish n Chip' shops.
The best are usually Asian run (Vietnamese in particular) seem to have a knack for fantastic burgers. Typically cheaper too.
As for chips - ever since I learnt how to cook them myself at home, 98% of the time I'm disappointed now with take away chips/fries ) | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number SmartEyeball Custom Systems OS 8 Pro x64 CPU i7 3770K 4.6GHz Motherboard ASUS P8Z77 WS (great board good slot placement) Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X 2400mhz Graphics Card 2x Gigabyte GTX 670 OC WindForce SLI Sound Card X-FI Forte 7.1 + ATH-AD900 Headphones Monitor(s) Displays x3 Dell U2410 / 58" Samsung / "40 Sony Screen Resolution 1920*1200 / 1920*1080 Keyboard Topre Realforce // Ducky Shine MX Black // Filco Ninja TKL Mouse Razer Imperator + Thermaltake Theron PSU Corsair AX1200W Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives 2x Intel 520 240GB (RAID 0) * 2x WD Caviar Blacks 2TB (RAID 0) * 2TB WD Caviar Black Antivirus MSE Browser Opera, Chrome, FF Other Info GT Extreme V2 Sim Racing Cockpit + 40" LCD and K/B Mouse stand ▼

Have to agree that Five Guys is too expensive. It is worth it to try it a least once, as I did. To eat their regularly, no way. Overrated though, IMO.
Red Robin or Islands has really good ones as well, but they are restaurant expensive.
Burgers at In and Out are good - fries, not so much.
Fatburger is another place that has really good burgers I think. Bit expensive though as well. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Airbot 2.0 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 920 (D0) @ 4Ghz, *26c idle *65c full load on air Motherboard Asus P6X58D Premium - Sata 6Gb/s - USB 3.0 Memory 12GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator -CMD12GX3M6A1600C8 at 1600MHz Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 -Aftermaket Accelero Xtreme Plus cooler Sound Card ASUS Xonar D2X Monitor(s) Displays 1 LG 24" Flatron W2453V-PF 1 Samsung 24" P2450H both 2ms RT Screen Resolution 1920x1080@60hz Keyboard Logitech Wireless MK700 Mouse Logitech Wireless MK700 PSU Corsair HX1000W Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Cooling Case Fans *3 230mm, *1 140mm/CPU - *Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Hard Drives 1 OCZ Vertex2 180GB SSD

There is a place in my town, and probably others, called Fuddrucker's. The hamburgers and hot dogs are really good. They have their own bottles of mustard labeled "Mother Fuddrucker's Mustard".
