How can I delete a post?

Someone said this can be done if you go into Edit, and then Advanced. But when I do that I don't see an option for deleting the post. Am I not seeing something? Or confused? Or misinformed?

    Anybody?

    Thanks.

Have a look here: Windows 7 Forums - FAQ: Reading and Posting Messages

You may need to contact Admin if you don't have the ability to delete a post.

Thanks, TypeR. I see you're a moderator. If you have the authority (and the time and inclination) to delete this post, then be my guest. After posting it and seeing no replies, it occurs to me that the post comprises more whining than an actual appropriate problem -- at least a problem of the variety that has a solution. Since I already tried Microsoft's solution and it didn't work, I think it means I'm SOL on this one.

Thanks to the others who've replied to this post. I read the link that seavixen32 posted.

And boohbah... your kind comments made me blush!
