Windows 7 x64 finally!

What's your quirk?

I could never leave a tangled phone cord alone or the perforated sides on printer paper, when they still had that.

What is your idiosyncrasy?

It is my 100th post, I thought I would stick my neck out in the Chillout Room

So, you can post here or tell me to go start a "New Group for 200 Post Users in Seven Forums"

Long time no see, Wally. This one is becoming the joke of the forum, I see

Mine is always to check my keys. I have always the feeling I forgot or lost my keys, even it has never happened.

Kari

EDIT: Congratz for the 100 posts!

Mine is to always open up every machine or apparatus right after I bought it.
I have to see what's inside.

I always eyeball my keys in hand before I close a locking door.

I loathe litter and will accost anyone I see who should throw trash on the ground in my field of view.

I like farting on, or accidentally stepping on the feet of, people who are rude or discourteous at the market or mall.

I say hello to everyone I make eye contact with. If I am reasonably confident of their native tongue, I like greeting them in their language.

I kneel down to speak to children or persons who are in a wheelchair.

I will not eat at a buffet. If there is a sneeze guard, there is no Antman.

I have a few more.

Curious about new little quirk
I have recently downloaded two programs (Belarc Advisor, Advanced System Care Pro) that when run from the downloaded file (pre re-boot) both showed my (Gateway NV78 laptop) computer as running XP. The only OS ever near this computer has been the OEM Windows 7 Home Premium. After system reboot both...

Laptop display quirk.
I have a Dell XPS m1330 with W7 Pro. When I'm at my desk I plug it into my external Dell monitor (different resolution than my laptop's LCD) and use that as my primary display with my laptop display as an extension. Whenever I unplug it my laptop automatically reverts the primary display to my...

Software Install quirk
I upgraded from Vista while the computer was logged in to my wife's log-in. But I've since discovered a small handful of programmes that won't install in my log-in. The install aborts with a useless error message. But they do install if I try in my wife's log-in. Examples are Paint.net and...
