I'd better book my ticket before the big rush. Where are we going again?

I was going to comment about freedoms and censorship but I have decided to self censor - sorry all, know how you will be so disappointed.

Huh? It is likely the sun will be flung into a new region of our galaxy, but our Earth and solar system are in no danger of being destroyed.

Don't worry about the sun folks - our Earth will be fine without it. That old sol was just a bunch of hot air hydrogen anyway - good riddance, I say!

I'm done and out. Good topic Nitroman. I have my own theory-but I'm waiting to publish and win the Nobel prize, so I can't divulge it here.

Yeah, I I thought it was an interesting subject matter. Can't wait for your Nobel prize winning writing. Hopefully us forum members will get a taste before it is released to the general public

Don't hold your breathe Nitro, Peer review takes a LONG time and the scientific community is very hard on people who try to change reality.

No, actually they are quite receptive to anyone capable of adding a few brush strokes to the painting of a picture of anything that exists only in their minds. Reality has nothiing to do with it. It is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if you stare at it too long, you begin to see that the canvas is rotten, and the paint is so thick and lumpy that the easel can't carry the weight. So after a quick glance, look away before or you will begin to realize that it is all a deception designed to catch the unwary like flies on flypaper.

@seeker: A few brush strokes... I'm insulted. My paper tears down the accepted and that threatens established academia. I don't know if I'll survive the review, literally.

Ahh, but all of which you speak only adds to the beauty; the rotten canvas, the cracked oils..... But that's simply my eye and my reality. In my reality, there is no deception, just many, many unknowns. We have but only a few pieces of the puzzle and none of the edge pieces.

Can't do much about the flies though, that's just reality for ya.

I've always wondered if with all of the eyes that flies have, if their brains piece all of the images together, or if they see the world as a mosaic of images, as sometimes depicted in films? If the latter, it is no wonder that they can be so pesky, because they can't see things as they really are. In science, if a piece of the puzzle doesn't fit, they simply use scissors to trim it to fit, or throw it away when no one is looking.
