Wii internet channel is free now!

The internet channel for the Nintendo Wii (based on Opera) is now available for free! It used to be 500 Nintendo points but now it is available for free. It also contains Flash Lite, so Youtube will work on your 42" plasma (check out youtube.com/xl for an even better Youtube experience).

Google maps does not work however

Nice. Thanks for the info. I was wondering why my blue light was flashing on my Wii...I knew that I had an email...but I had not gotten around to turning on the console or the TV to see what it was about.
