The Queen's Diamond Jubilee

I just learned of the party going on in the UK. I have a couple questions for you Brits. == The Thames River had pictures of just hundreds of boats in it. I was just curious if anyone could put their boat in and paddle along with the others. == The affair is called the Diamond Jubilee. I was always under the impression that "Diamond" was 75 years, but they are celebrating the Queen being on her throne for 60 years. I just wondered if anyone knew about that. Thanks,

Thats correct, it used to be 75 years, but was changed to 60 years for ruling Monarchs during Queen Victorias reign.
