Windows 7: Laugh Tracks

I've come across a couple of movies lately, "Men In Black 3" and "The Avengers" that has weird laugh tracks, which seem to simulate laugh tracks like was used in a lot of comedy series on TV. Not only do they seem inappropriate to the scenes, but are very distracting. Does Hollywood now believe that their movies are so incoherent that they need to direct their audience's thoughts more than they already have with their implausible plots?

At least that's a cartoon, where no one ever expects any degree of coherency.

Another reason not to go. If the movies were worth seeing and a decent price, people would still be going.

Then they'll blame the (continual) decline of ticket sales on the good ol' scapegoat ("piracy, and no, we don't need no stinkin' facts"), and use this as an excuse to cook up another bizarre DRM scheme.

Which, of course, will be cracked within hours and ultimately only serve to add to the mountain pile of inconvenience already suffered by actual paying customers.
