I use a Weller Pyropen for work. No flame, but there is an outlet that hot air comes out. Never burnt myself, or anything else using it. They do have self igniting ones, but the igniter is the 1st to fail it seems, and then you can't light it.

Yeah Guy Weller are nice this is a pic of my really old but good as new Snap On my son bought me when he was still doing his light vehicle apprenticeship with I think it is a Weller tip - nice tips as they do not wear badly at all like the old ones used to with the old forms of flux (used to do a bit of plumbing with my Dad).
Tim had nothing but Snap On tools - pricey but so good.
