Well done Ted and Tom - that is a real achievement :)

Luckily I've always remained in the "live to drink" category rather than the "drink to Live" one.

The thing is that my time in the licensed industry taught me of Alcohol's power to corrupt and control, and what a fine line there is between wanting a drink and needing a drink.

Anyway back on topic - Where's seven of nine

This was popular with the crowd I hung with at 15 even though at the time we knew it was horrible.

I'm in total agreement first thing I ever drank. Boy showing our age. Sick of yes very sick. Thought I'd drink a bottle and run up and down the street to get the full effect and did! But nothing like the Tequila phase got so sick couldn't even smell it without visiting the porcelain God

Watneys Red Barrel was I believe the actual contents of the party 7 - never the best beer available, but at 15 you haven't developed the palette for a good single malt or a fine cask condition ale.

It made you fall over which at that age is the main purpose of alcohol .

These days although I still drink it is in extreme moderation :)

Hehe, I fell over a lot back then, my motto then was:

I don't have a drinking problem, I drink, I get drunk, I fall down, no problem.

Later in life a female friend got me a hat that said:

    Instant a..hole, just add alcohol.

August 17 was 12 years sober, not even a beer or any other substance.

Congratulations Ted!! .... 4 years for me... but I count em one day at a time..
Congrats guys!! November 3rd marked 2 years sober for me. I remember Boone's Farm, that and MD 20/20 were popular in the foolish teen years....before I graduated to Jim Beam.

It's kind of refreshing to be able to think clearly before noon again.
