Recently I got a new Asus Transformer Pad TF300T from my sons in US.
I have been putting it through various tests. With quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM and 32GB flash drive the tablet is very fast.
I have been using Apple Ipod and Iphones all these times. This is the first time I am exposed to Google's Android ICS 4.0.3 and I find the Android very user friendly.
I have added another 32 GB microSDHC card to it and have copied all my mp3s and digital photo collection. With 10.1 inch screen I can setup a photo slide show as in a photo frame.
The Polaris Office suite for DOC, XLS, PPT files is not very convenient to use for serious work. I have found a AutoCAD viewer for viewing CAD files.
This tablet is very good for checking email accounts, skyping and google talk and casual browsing. I like Google Currents and Pulse applications, where I can subscribe freely many magazines on World News, Photography, Android, Apple and PC news, Men's and Woman's health and fashions etc.
The battery life is fairly good (more than 7 hours). I am spending more time on the tablet than my laptop and it is going with me everywhere.
The only feature I am missing in this tablet is 3G/4G support. For an Android lover, I strongly recommend this tablet.
After using the tablet for more than a month, I am tilting towards an ultrabook.
