Ditto on what Bill posted. I just noticed that you have the arrow pointing downward indicating that you need to click on it to expand it to see the forums. :)

    Thank you, Bill and Brink.

I never knew or noticed that there was a pointer.

Oh gosh! And all this time I thought it was WaterFox having a problem?!

Most sites due tend to see compression/expansion arrows don't they?!

It's a rather pointless feature that I think I'll remove.

I forgot about it even being there since I run into them on other sites as well at times but never bother clicking on them. It would be less confusing for anyone not familiar with them. Can I second the notion?

One other idea for keeping them would be some type of indicator or script to show them. If you go to an MS page you see a "show all" link under each catagory on a questions page. On some sites however you have to move the cursor around endlessly just to find the right spot to click on.

I had not seen the collapse so thoroughly hide a forum. Usually it just leaves the title of the sub forums, and hides the descriptions. But then, I had never tried it on purpose. Yeah, it serves no purpose that I can see. Deleting it sounds good John. A Guy

On other sites the toggles are usually hidden so you wouldn't even know they were present for things like rolling up one particular section at a time or for a side column on the home or main index page.

Rather then eliminating the one another option would be adding one for each section so it folds up like an accordian rather then one click and the front page disappears entirely. That would allow you to view certain sections together without collapsing the entire page.
