    DDR3 Reccomendation?

I need DDR3 (2x 8GB) that is cost effective and meets my gaming needs. Suggestions?

System specs certainly would help. But in general:

Gskill, Corsair, or Mushkin would be my recommendations.
As this is for gaming, 1333 or 1600 mhz is plenty. No big difference between the two, and faster will show no benefit for gaming.
Timings and latency will not matter much either.

16GB is not going to help with gaming either. 8GB is more than enough. Unless you do other stuff that requires 16GB, it'd be even cheaper to go 8GB.

Need specs like what motherboard do you have to know what speeds is can handle. Anyways I would go with G.skill, rip jaws or corsair. If your mobo supports 1600mhz then get those, better to just max it out.At least that is the way I see it.

He asked for cost effective ram for his gaming needs and I recommended the brand and model that I have used on a dozen different builds so far.

I really have loved my G. Skill memory. The only other memory I have purchased in the past 5 years is Corsair.
