Dell Inspiron 1525 Wireless Driver Problem

Hello everyone. I been working on a friends Inspiron laptop and the only thing I can't seem to get working is the wireless card. I've tried every driver on Dell's website and nothing. My friend also said it was working just fine when he had it. So what can I do? Windows Vista says the driver is a Broadcom 802.11n Network adapter also it says that it could not start the driver. So could someone help me please and find a fix for this problem.

    Hi nckfrtg28,

I am Roy from Dell Social Media and Community team.

With regards to your query, try the following steps

Please uninstall the Wi-Fi drivers from device manager and then install the driver for this computer. You will find the drivers at the below given link: “http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?DriverId=D6WJD&FileId=2731099447&productCode=inspiron-1525&urlProductCode=False

    Kindly revert for further clarifications,

    Thanks and regards,
