Chrome vs Firefox>? I have had both as well as Op, Safari.
Only Safari comes in 2nd, Chrome is the fastest by far and runs clean. | My System Specs |

I find chrome quite slow on Windows 7, although this could be caused by the hack needed to get it to work in 7 x64. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number doofenshmirtz evil incorporated OS Windows 8 Pro CPU Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition Motherboard ASRock X79 EXTREME11 Memory 32GB (8x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Dominator Platinum Graphics Card 2x 3GB EVGA GTX 660 Ti Superclocked+ Sound Card Creative Monitor(s) Displays 3 x27" Dell & 2 x 23" Dell Screen Resolution 3 @ 2560x1440 & 2 @ 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Ergononic 7000 Mouse Logitech Performance MX PSU 1500W ThermalTake Toughpower Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Cooling Antec Kúhler H2O 620 CPU Watercooler Hard Drives 240GB Intel 520 Series, 2.5" SSD, SATA III

I was going to try X64 but depend on audio programs and need the 32. Maybe I will try it. But you could be correct. They haven't delivered on the mac either.
For sure Chrome is really good and I am picky with browsers. I am. I have tried everything and there's something about that I really, really, like. From selecting new tabs to searching in the main url tab and speed. I have timed all the browsers and it really is the fastest. Plus, I really like how it has the windows that show most recent (Sevenforums always on one thumbnail, snicker) and I know others have the thumb nails, they feel clunky. Wish I.E. could get their stuff together and release a super browser but there is something noisy about it. Plus if I think Chrome is clean, it even makes firefox look noisy now. Problem is, there are sites from time to time that don't support Chrome and will just launch FF or IE if I need to.
Good luck on the development for the 64. If I update and find a fix, I'll let you know. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Intel OS Windows 7 CPU D940 Intel Duo Core Motherboard Intel D945GTP Memory OCZ Platinum Graphics Card Nvidia 7600 256 GT Sound Card On Board but use external Firewire Monitor(s) Displays Dual Samsung Screen Resolution 1200x1078 Keyboard Apple Keyboard Mouse Logitech PSU Generiz 550 Case Can't remember but looks like a G4 Cooling Intel Fan Hard Drives Several internal Sata Internet Speed 1.5 Mega Bytes per second (cable) 15000 mbits |
