Well I was panicking earlier, Internet connection was down and BT went through all the tests with me disconnecting things and fitting new filters and still no go. After all the tests he did tell me it was nothing wrong with my end or my equipment but they'd had a major incident this morning and although it was fixed they were still stabilises lines and I'd have to wait 24 hours before anything else could be done.
Yippeeeeeeeeeeee got it back about an hour ago. Even had to go next door, she still had a connection, so I could book a Tesco slot. In some ways it's frightening how we've come to be dependent on the Internet and feel lost when it's down, for me it's age and circumstances that make it essential I have a connection.
