I've finished it all, for most of the e-mails, Hotmail provided a unsubscribe or block buttion with the additional option of deleting all e-mails from that address, rest of the websites I had log-on and do it manually myself (thankfully changed got a separate e-mail address for my Facebook and Twitter)

Also, this guy from work, keeps wanting me to do his shifts even though I have college in the week, and I wouldn't get the privilege of working when I wanted to either!

I know, you don't realise how easy it is for companies to try and advertise their products to you, until your inbox become bombarded with junk mail everyday

At least it will keep Carl busy even though Gracie may not get out for its daily walks as
    often.

Well I've taken the plunge and ordered a laptop for myself and it will come with Windows 8. The computer I've got now is getting on a bit, it came with Vista but I'll keep using it until it gives up the ghost. I'd been thinking about getting a tablet but looking at the prices for them in my mail order catalogue I thought I might as well get a laptop, OK it's not a top of the range one but it's an Asus with 4 GB of RAM plus the other usual stuff, web cam, WiFi, Bluetooth, Multi DVD drive several ports.
Be back in a bit got to reboot for updates.

I have a OEM machine, it lets me do all things I want to do, so I'm very pleased with it to be honest!

I have Windows 7 though, so Windows 8 may be a different story..

Nothing at all wrong with an Asus! I have one with an i5 650 running at 3.2Ghz. By no means a speed demon, but with 6 GB of RAM, it does all I need it to...

To be honest without going back to look I'm not sure if it's 64 or 32 bit machine, I think it's got an Intel Celeron processor. As I said I was really looking first about getting a tablet so I could use it and still be in forums when I'm in the living room but with the price I thought I might as well just get myself a laptop, at least I can do more with that than a tablet.

We'll just have to wait and see what I think of it when it turns up, I just hope it's not Yodel bringing it or there will be hell to pay.
