Here in Germany it has been the warmest day ever(*) today, close to 40°C (104°F). For someone from beyond Arctic Circle like me it's simply too hot.

I wish they didn't make it sound like the whole of Britain are sweltering in a heatwave, in this corner we aren't the suns only just started to show after another morning of rain, it's not that hot either.

Doc, Arizona does not count. Haven't you got this law that kids don't have to go to school if it is really cold outside, like under 35°C (95°F)?

For the past 4 or 5 days here it's been cloudy and raining in the morning, and then afternoon it all blows over and it's clear skies and sun with clear nights only to repeat itself in the morning. Quite odd.
