We've just been out buying xmas presents and I convinced Angie to let me get Hannah one of these - Roboraptor
Let me get this straight. You mean that you wanted one, but Angie wouldn't let you, so you thought that you'd see if she would allow you to get one on the guise of it being for Hannah when it's really for you?

Has Angie dropped any hints yet?
Hannah prefers the stuff I pick, when looking for presents Angie considers lots of other stuff before the fun factor

Angie can drop all the hints she wants, I've already bought her the Iron and tumble drier she wanted.
So much for secrecy....lol. Shoulda had the stuff loaded into a sleigh driven by boohbah in a Santa suit, pulled by Gracie into your driveway!

Yes I suppose as you are on benefits, Mr Osborne will be cutting your weekly handout even more come next April. You might even find that you would be better off getting a job. Now there's food for thought for you!

Where did you hear about the cuts? I haven't read/heard anything yet, and also it usually goes up a bit every April with the tax year thing.

The Autumn statement - 1% increase in benefits, which once inflation it taken into account is about a 2-4% benefit cut.

You can thank Mr Clegg for that, if we had a pure Tory government you would have had all money cut off and be queuing at the soup kitchen to eat by now

    Dwarf,
With all the new changes in benefits and tax increases does that mean I won't be
getting anything under the tree in 2013?
